(ORAL) Challenge in the present petition is to the charge-sheet dated 06.06.2023 (Annexure P-1), inquiry report dated 11.12.2023 (Annexure P-3), order of punishment dated 09.01.2024 (Annexure P-4) passed by respondent No.4- Assistant General Manager, Disciplinary Authority Zonal Office, Karnal, whereby the major penalty of removal from service has been imposed upon the petitioner. An alternate prayer has also been made for directing respondent No.2-Review Authority-cum-General Manager (HRM) to decide the pending review appeal dated 07.10.2024 (Annexure P-7), preferred by the petitioner, in a time bound manner. Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset, submits that at this juncture he would be satisfied, in case his second prayer qua directing respondent No.2-Review Authority-cum-General Manager (HRM) to decide the pending review appeal dated 07.10.2024 (Annexure P-7), preferred by the petitioner, in a time bound manner is considered.
