Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The writ petition is filed with the following prayer: "(a). a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the Respondents to decide the representation dated 09.10.2023 and release the petitioners death gratuity along with the interest till date." 3. It is submitted by learned counsel for petitioner that the claim of petitioner for death gratuity is pending consideration before respondent no.3, however till date, no order has been passed. 4. Learned Standing Counsel submits that claim of the petitioner would be decided in a time bound manner. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is hereby provided that the respondent no.3-Finance Controller, Higher Education, Prayagraj U.P. shall decide the representation dated 9.10.2023 filed by petitioner in accordance with law, preferably within a period of two months from the date of production of a certified copy of the order. 6. It is clarified that this Court has not decided the issue on merits and the authorities concerned shall independently apply its mind and pass order in accordance with law. 7.
