JUSTICE M.NAGAPRASANNA) 1. The petitioner is before this Court seeking the following prayer. “a) issue a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondent No.1 and 4 to consider the representation dated 25.08.2020 / 11.09.2020 and direct the respondent No.5 and 6 to pay salary arrears as per the worksheet to the petitioner vide Annexures-V and W allowing this writ petition in the ends of justice and equity. b) Issue any other appropriate writ/s order/s or direction as this Hon’ble Court deems fit in the facts and circumstances of the case to do justice to the parties.” 2. The petitioner is an employee of the VTU and retires on attaining the age of superannuation. The claim of the petitioner is for arrears of salary. The arrears of salary having sprung from the difference of payment that he was getting qua the entitlement under the AICTE pay scales. Therefore, the petitioner submits a representation seeking the said claim. That has not been considered on the score that there is no recommendation made by the VTU to the State to consider any such representation. 3. In the light of the said circumstance, I deem it appropriate to direct respondent Nos.5 and 6 to consider the - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2025:KHC-D:17700 WP No. 103056 of 2023 representation and make a recommendation in accordance with law if the entitlement of the petitioner would be in real time to the State and in the event such representation comes about to the State, the State shall pass necessary orders thereon in accordance with law answering the grievance / prayer of the petitioner.
