ORDER (11.09.2025)
1. The petitioners, through the medium of present petition, have sought a direction upon the respondents to rectify/correct the classification of the land comprised in khasra No. 90/84 khewat No. 13 situated at Mandi Dansal Samba from Ghair Mumkin jaad to Banjar Kadeem on the strength of entry made in the missal Haqiyat of 1914-15 and Jamabandi/Girdawari copies of 1963-64.
2. Mr. Gagan Kohli, learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that the petitioners had approached the respondents- Authorities for correction of the classification of the land in question in the year 2021 but no decision is being taken by the respondents despite there being ample material on record to show that the land in question was previously recorded as Banjar Kadeem but has been erroneously now recorded as Ghair Mumkin jaad.

4. Having regard to the nature of the relief that has been sought by the petitioners by way of the present petition, the same can be disposed of, at this stage, by extending appropriate directions to respondents No. 3 to 6.

Accordingly, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents No. 3 to 6 to decide and dispose of the application of the petitioners for rectification of revenue record in respect of the aforesaid land most expeditiously in accordance with law preferably within a period of two months from the date a copy of this order is made available to respondents No. 3 to 6 by the petitioners.
