By the present writ petition, the petitioner who is presently posted as Additional Deputy Director Veterinary Surgeon at Veterinary Hospital Orcha, District Narayanpur is seeking direction towards the respondents to consider the representation Annexure P-6, P-9 and P-11 by which the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondents for allotment of government quarter to the petitioner either in Village Orcha District Narayanpur or to permit the petitioner to continue with the 3 government quarter F-3, Housing board Colony Village Meregaon, Tehsil: Mohla, Manpur ambagarh Chouki. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner has been transferred from village Meragaon, District Mohla, Manpur Ambagarh Chouki to Orcha, District Narayanpur by order dated 01.08.2022 and he has joined at Orcha on 03.11.2023, but till date no government quarter has been allotted to him at Orcha, District Narayanpur and his family is still residing at government quarter F-3, Housing board Colony Village Meregaon, Tehsil: Mohla, Manpur ambagarh Chouki. He further submits that the petitioner has submitted a representation to allot a government quarter before the SDO at Village Orcha District Narayanpur vide Annexure P-4 dated 03.11.2023, but till date no quarter has been allotted. He further submits that he has also submitted a representation to let his family continue at government quarter F-3, Housing board Colony Village Meregaon, Tehsil: Mohla, Manpur ambagarh Chouki vide Annexure P-11 dated 20.01.2025, but till date respondents have not taken any decision on the said representation. 3. Learned State counsel submits that if the representation to Collector, Narayanpur dated 03.11.2023 is still pending the same will be considered in accordance with law and necessary steps will be taken for allotment of the government quarter to the petitioner subject to availability of the government quarter in 4 Orcha, District Naraynapur. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the representation. 5. Perusal of the documents shows that it is not in dispute that the petitioner has joined at Orcha, Naraynapur on 03.11.2023 and submitted representation to the Collector Narayanpur for allotment of the government quarter but till date no decision has been taken by the Collector. Considering the same, Collector, Narayanpur is directed to decide the representation of the petitioner dated 03.11.2023 (Annexure P-4) within a period of 25 days from today and take necessary steps for allotment of quarter at the present place of posting of the petitioner i.e. Orcha, District Narayanpur. 6.
