The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Patratu (Bhadaninagar) P.S. Case No. 223 of 2024, for the offences registered under sections 317(2), 308(2), 308(5), 318(2) 338, 336(2), 346 and 61(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, pending in the court of Miss Sanjibita Guin, learned J.M.F.C., Ramgarh. 3. On 29.08.2024, Patratu (Bhadaninagar) Police apprehended the co-accused persons from a place near Matkama Railway Crossing on the allegation that they were realizing rangdari from ---+businessmen. 4. It was submitted that though the petitioner is named in the F.I.R., but his name has transpired in the confession of co-accused persons who were apprehended at the spot. It was further submitted that nothing incriminating has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was finally submitted that similarly situated co-accused person namely Sagar Kumar @ Katappa has been granted bail by this Court in B.A. No. 10860/2024. 5. Learned Special P.P has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner but does not dispute the aforesaid facts. 6. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Miss Sanjibita Guin, learned J.M.F.C., Ramgarh or her successor in connection with Patratu (Bhadaninagar) P.S.
