Raghunandan Rao) The present petition has been filed, by the petitioners for production of their daughter, aged 16 years. The case of the petitioners was that their daughter had left the home of the petitioners and was not traceable despite / approaching the police department. / 2 € 2. The learned Government Pleader has today produced a communication between the project Director, DW&CDA, General Hospital Compound, Kadapa and the Sub-Inspector of Police, Gangireddypall i Police Station. In this communication, it is stated that the missing girl has been found but has expressed strong unwillingness to return her parental home, due to her parents trying to marry her against her will. 3. It appears that the girl is presently lodged in One Stop Centre (Sakhi), Kadapa. 4. In the circumstances, this Writ Petition is closed leaving it open to the petitioners to approach the authorities for handing over custody of the alleged detenue to them. Further, the authorities shall also verify whether the alleged detenue is being forced to marry against her will and below the legal age of marriage. In the circumstances, necessary steps to protect the rights of the alleged detenue shall be taken by the authorities. 5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed.
