Order 18/12/2025
1. The instant bail application has been filed under Section 483 of BNSS., on behalf of the petitioner, who has been arrested in connection with FIR No.311/2025 registered at Police Station C.P.S Jaipur, ACB District for the offence punishable under Section 7 of the Prevention of Corruption (Amendment) Act, 2018.
2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. Counsel submits that the alleged bribe amount was planted by placing it in the almirah of her office. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner is a woman and is the mother of a three years old child. It is also submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 19.11.2025. No
(2 of 3) [CRLMB-15950/2025] further custodial interrogation or investigation is required, and there are no criminal antecedents against the petitioner. Counsel argues that trial of the case will take considerable time in its conclusion and further custody of the petitioner would not serve any fruitful purpose.
3. Learned Public Prosecutor has strongly opposed the bail application.
4. I have considered the contentions.
5. Having regard to the totality of the facts and circumstances of the case, and considering the arguments advanced by learned counsel for the petitioner, especially the fact that the petitioner is a woman and the mother of a three years old child; trial will take considerable time in its conclusion as well as looking to the period of custody, but without expressing any opinion on the merits or demerits of the case, this Court deems it proper to allow the bail application.
6. This bail application is accordingly allowed and it is directed that accused-petitioner–Rajkumari D/o Viri Singh W/o Shri Vijay Kumar shall be released on bail provided she furnishes a personal bond in the sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Only) together with two sureties in the sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only) each to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court with the stipulation that she shall appear before that Court and any court to which the matter is transferred, on all subsequent dates of hearing and as and when called upon to do so.
(3 of 3) [CRLMB-15950/2025]
7. The observations made hereinabove are only for decision of the instant bail application and would not have any impact on the trial of the case in any manner.
