JUDGMENT Hon’ble Ravindra Maithani, J. (Oral) The petitioners claim that they were street vendors, but now displaced by the respondent no.4, Nagar Palika Parishad, Nainital. The respondent no.4, Nagar Palika Parishad, Nainital had on 08.10.2020 resolved that street vendors licenses shall be issued for other persons also, whose livelihood were through street vending. But, the resolution has not been given effect. 2. Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the respondent no.4 is not abiding by its resolution dated 08.10.2020. 4. Learned counsel for the respondent no.4 would submit that the street vendors’ licenses were issued to such persons, who had earlier been issued licenses. He 2 would submit that the representations that have been given by the petitioners shall be decided within a period of four weeks. 5. The petition is disposed of with the directions to the respondent no.4 that if such representation(s) is made by the petitioners, the same shall be decided within a period of four weeks by the respondent no.4, in accordance with the law/guidelines.
