As reveals from the case record in connection with the complaint lodged against the Petitioner, the Kharavel Nagar P.S. Case No.222 of 2024 dated 04.05.2024 has been registered. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that despite the registration of the FIR lodged on 04.05.2024, no progress has been made in the investigation. The matter has also been brought to the notice of DCP, Bhubaneswar under Annexure-2 on 16.07.2024 but of no avail. 2. Perused the complaint, as reveals, serious allegation have been brought against the accused persons and the FIR too discloses the offences. Needless to say, keeping in view the nature of allegations and the complaints with which the FIR has been lodged, the matter ought to have been investigated and the Final Form, if any, would have been submitted by now. Since there is a substantial delay in the completion of the investigation, the DCP, Bhubaneswar i.e Opposite Party No.2, is directed to examine the aforesaid matter and issue appropriate instruction to the concerned I.O. to conduct a fair and diligent investigation and complete the same upon submission of the Final Form, if any, within a period of one month, if there be no other legal impediment. 3.
