The petitioner, through the medium of the present petition, has sought a direction upon the respondents to pass and record mutations under Government Order No. LB-6 and Government Order No. S-432 in respect of land measuring 6 Kanals in Khasra No. 331 situated at village Tuli, Tehsil Chassana and District Reasi. 02. It is the contention of the petitioner that he along with his forefathers has been in continuous possession of the aforesaid land which is clear from the Khasra Girdawari for the year 1957. It has been submitted that the petitioner has approached respondent No. 4-Tehsildar, Tehsil Chassana, District Reasi, to record mutations in respect of the aforesaid land in his favour firstly under Government Order No. LB-6 Serial No. 113 2 WP(C) No. 2563/2025 and thereafter for conferring ownership rights in terms of Government Order No. S-432 but no action is being taken by the said respondent. 03. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner would feel satisfied if a direction is issued to respondent No. 4-Tehsildar, Tehsil Chassana, District Reasi, to consider his case for conferment of proprietary rights upon him in respect of the aforesaid land within a specified time period. 04. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No. 4-Tehsildar, Tehsil Chassana, District Reasi, to treat this writ petition as a representation on behalf of the petitioner and consider his case for conferment of proprietary rights upon him in terms of Government Order No. LB-6 and Government Order No. S-432, in accordance with law most expeditiously preferably within a period of six months from the date a copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition is made available to respondent No. 4. 05.
