ORDER:
This petition under Sections 10 to 12 of Contempt of Courts Act 1971 is filed the Petitioner praying to punish the respondents for wilful disobedience of the order of this Hon'ble Court passed in W.P. No. 30098 of 2025 dated
06.11.2025.
2. Heard Sri M.Karibasaiah, learned counsel for the Petitioners and Ms.A.Jayanthi, learned Government Pleader for Home.

Learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that, inspite of the
order passed by this Court in W.P.No.30098 of 2025, dated 06.11.2025 directing the Police not to interfere in the civil disputes between the parties except under due process of law, on 18.12.2025 the Police entered into the house of the Petitioners and got them vacated.

Per contra, learned Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that disputes are pending between the Petitioners and their mother in respect of the house bearing D.No.8/328, situated at Kalyanadurgam Town. It is submitted that the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kalyanadurgam, by proceedings in Rc.No.C1/596/2025, dated 24.11.2025, permitted the mother of the Petitioners to reside in the said house. Pursuant thereto, on the request made by the Village Revenue Officer, the Police were present on 18.12.2025 only to prevent any untoward incident while the V.R.O. was handing over the house to the mother of the Petitioners. It is further submitted that the Police did not interfere in the civil dispute.

Considering the submissions of the learned counsel representing both sides, this Court finds that the Police were present on 18.12.2025 only to maintain law and order while the Village Revenue Officer handed over the house bearing D.No.8/328, Kalyanadurgam Town, to the mother of the Petitioners pursuant to the proceedings of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kalyanadurgam, dated 24.11.2025. No material is placed to show wilful or deliberate disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.30098 of 2025, dated 06.11.2025.

6. Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed. However, Police are
directed not to interfere in civil disputes between the parties except under due process of law. No order as to costs.
