By this petition, the petitioners have requested this Court to direct respondents to pay solatium as per Section 23(2) and interests as per Section 23(1-A) and 28 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894. 3. Be that as it may, according to the petitioners, Civil Misc. Application No. 847-2019 is already pending before the file of the learned District Judge, Nagpur in which final arguments are already advanced. 4. In view of the above, we direct learned District Judge, Nagpur to decide the Civil Misc. Application 847-2019 filed under Section 34 of the Act of 1996, within a period of six weeks, from today, in the light of the law laid down by the Hon’ble Apex Court in Miscellaneous Application No. 1773 of 2021 in Civil Appeal No.7064 of 2019 Union of India and another vs. Tarsem Singh and others with connected matters, decided on 04.02.2025. According to Mr. Gadhia, the Apex Court in the aforesaid order re- affirmed the principles established in the case of Civil Appeal No.7064 of 2019 Union of India vs. Tarsem Singh and others reported in [(2019) 9 SCC 304] .
