The prayer sought in the present Writ Petition is as under: <It is therefore prayed that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the respondents in failing to consider the application of the petitioners dated 29.3.2014 made pursuant to the directions of this Hon'ble Court in WP No.15067 of 2013 dt.19.09.2013 for stopping the service connections to the schedule land houses in Sy No.101/3 and 101/5 of Akkarampalli Reveneu Village, Tirupathi Urban Mandal, Chittoor District to an extent of Ac.1.05 cents and Ac.2.46 cents respectively as illegal and arbitrary and consequently direct the respondents No.4 to 7 not to grant any service connections to the third parties in view of the orders of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tirupathi in Roc.B/1028/14 dt. 01.04.2014 as the pattas were cancelled and to such other order or orders as this Hon’ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice.= 3 3. Though this Writ Petition, which is filed in the year 2014, was listed only on two earlier occasions i.e., (on 11.06.2014 and 18.06.2014), the docket would indicate that no interim directions were given to the Respondents. 4. Ld. Counsel for the Writ Petitioners would seek some time to obtain instructions whether the cause survives or not. Since this Writ Petition is of the year 2014, and the extract of the prayer in the Writ Petition would indicate that the Writ Petitioner was seeking a direction to the Official Respondents not to grant Service Connection and that there is no interim direction issued by this Court, this Court is of the opinion that the cause would not survive. 5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of as having become infructuous. No order as to costs. 6. Interlocutory Applications, if any, stand closed in terms of this order. _________________________________ GANNAMANENIRAMAKRISHNA PRASAD, J Dt: 02.12.2025 Mnr 4 133 HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE GANNAMANENI RAMAKRISHNA PRASAD WRIT PETITION No.15902 OF 2014 Dt: 02.12.2025 Mnr
