CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE HARISH VAIDYANATHAN SHANKAR

1.
Learned counsel for the Delhi Jal Board once again seeks an adjournment. This Court takes note of the fact that on earlier occasions as well, learned counsel appearing on behalf of Delhi Jal Board had sought accommodation. On those occasions, it was categorically clarified that no further adjournments would be granted. However, despite the said observations, a request for adjournment has yet again been made.
2. This Court does not approve of such repeated requests for adjournment. Considering that the matter has been pending for over a decade, it is also noted that the Delhi Jal Board has failed to comply with the directions of this Court dated 17.09.2025.
3. The concerned Official of the Delhi Jal Board is directed to file an affidavit explaining as to why the same has not yet been complied with within a period of two weeks from today.
4. In the event of failure to file the affidavit within the stipulated period, the concerned Official shall remain present before this Court on the next date of hearing.
5. List on 12.03.2026.
6. A photocopy of the Order passed today be kept in the connected matters.
