Heard Sri P.Rajasekhar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Rama Chandra Rao Gurram, learned counsel for the respondents. 2. The above contempt case is filed complaining about the non- implementation of the order dated 01.08.2023 in W.P.No.16614 of 2018. 3. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that a sum of Rs.41,65,905/- has been deposited before the Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Authority vide Cheque No.047691 dated 01.08.2025. He further submitted that the matter has been referred to the said Authority under Section 77 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. 4. The reference proceedings along with the cheque have been filed before this Court. A copy of it is handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner across the bar. 5. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that there is an inordinate delay in complying with the order. 6.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances, though some delay occurred in complying with the order, since the order has now been complied with, this court is of the considered opinion that the delay is neither willful nor intentional. The contempt case is closed. No costs. 3
