SREENIVASA REDDY CRIMINAL PETITION NO.730 OF 2025 ORDER : This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner/Accused, seeking regular bail, in Crime No.267 of 2021 of S.Kota Police Station, Vizianagaram. '`h 2. A case has been registered against the petitioner herein for the offence punishable under Section 8(c) r/w 20(b)(ii)(C) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act,1985 (for short 'the NDPS Act'). 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 29.10.2021, on receipt of credible information, the Sub-Inspector of Police, along with his staff and mediators rushed to Boddavara Check Post of S.Kota Mandal and found the accused in possession of a Maruthi Car bearing No.AP-31-AT-3394, along with 90 kgs of ganja. 4. Heard. Perused the record. 5. A perusal of the material available on record goes to show that on credible information, police arrested accused and seized 90 kgs of ganja, along with car, from his possession. On enquiry, it was revealed that the petitioner is the owner of the car. The petitioner /Accused was arrested on 17.10.2024, and since then, he has been in judicial remand. I-----i Jt The petitioner has been in judicial remand for more than 110 days. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submitted that the entire investigation has been completed and the charge sheet has also been filed in the present case. 6. In view of the aforesaid facts and Circumstances Of the Case, this court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner/Accused on the following conditions. i) The petitioner/Accused shall be released On bail On his executing personal bond for Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) With two sureties of the like sum each to the satisfaction Of the learned Judicial Magistrate of First Class, Srungavarapukota, Vizianagaram. ii) on release, the petitioner shall make himself available for trial aS and when required, and he shall not, directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any persons acquainted w'lth the facts of the case so as to dissuade them from disclosing such facts tO the Court or to any police OffiICer. 7.
