Jyotsna Rewal Dua, Judge Though the respondents have not filed the reply, however, with consent of learned counsel for the parties, matter is heard at this stage. 2. This writ petition has been filed for grant of following substantive relief:- “A ) That the respondents may kindly be directed to count the services rendered by the petitioner as 1 Whether reporters of Local Papers may be allowed to see the judgment? yes - 2 - lecturer Hindi on Contract basis from dated 26.03.2012 and regularized on dated 24.05.2017 and was superannuated after completion 58 years on dated 30.11.2022, total length of service more than 10 years and 8 months, pursue the matter for (OPS) Old pension Scheme recently introduce by State Govt. for which he has already applied for OPS alongwith all consequential benefits.” 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has preferred a representation dated 07.12.2023 (Annexure P-1) to respondent No.2 for claiming the above reliefs. Learned counsel further submits that the petitioner would be content in case respondent No.2/competent authority is directed to decide the aforesaid representation within a fixed time schedule. Learned Additional Advocate General is not averse to this prayer. 4. Having regard to the afore-submissions, but without examining the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents/ competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner dated 07.12.2023 (Annexure P-1) in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner. - 3 - The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
