By way of this writ petition, the petitioners challenge the action of the Government in installing 220 KV Electric Sub Station at Khohra Mulla which was allotted on 03.05.2025. [2025:RJ-JP:47709-DB] (2 of 2) [CW-12837/2025] 2. It is ascertained that the land allotted for construction of 220 KV Electric Sub Station at Khohra Mulla is a pasture land and pasture land could not have been allotted for other purposes. 3. We notice that the State Government has already issued a circular for earmarking another equivalent land for pasture purposes, if the land presently recorded as charagah (pasture land) is being utilized for public purposes. 4. Admittedly, the land allotted is for public purpose and public benefit and for installing Electric Sub Station, the State Government may take appropriate steps for allotting the alternate land of equivalent area for pasture purposes. 5. With the said observation, the Public Interest Litigation proceedings are closed. 6. All pending applications also stand disposed of.
