Present Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India with the following prayers:- “(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to keep in abeyance the order dated 03.03.2022 (Annexure No.11 to the writ petition) passed by the respondent no.3 i.e. Deputy Secretary, State Election Commission, Uttarakhand. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the 1 2025:UHC:6368 respondents to take the decision on the representations of the petitioner dated representation dated 06.10.2021 and 13.11.2021 (Annexure No. 2 (Colly) to the writ petition). (iii) Issue any other or further writ, order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case. (iv) To award the cost of the petition in favor of the petitioner.” 2. Heard Mr. S.S. Yadav, learned counsel for petitioner, Mr. Sanjay Bhatt, learned counsel for respondent nos.1 & 3 and Mr. G.S. Negi, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel for respondent no.2. 3. Mr. S.S. Yadav, Advocate, has requested to decide the present writ petition directing the Secretary, State Election Commission, Uttarakhand to decide the representations of the petitioner dated 06.10.2021 and 13.11.2021 (Annexure No.2 to the writ petition). 4. Mr. Sanjay Bhatt, Advocate, has sought eight weeks’ time for the Secretary, State Election Commission, Uttarakhand to decide the said representations of the petitioner. 5. Mr. S.S. On the request of learned counsel for the parties, the present Writ Petition (S/S No.469 of 2023) is disposed of directing the Secretary, State Election Commission, Uttarakhand to decide the petitioner’s representations dated 06.10.2021 and 13.11.2021 (Annexure No.2 to the writ petition) in accordance with relevant rules as expeditiously as possible but not later than eight weeks’ from the date of production of the certified copy of this order. 7.
