JUDGMENT The writ petition is filed, inter alia, to direct the Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (in short, ‘Commission’), Thiruvananthapuram, to consider and dispose of Appeal No. 391/2018, expeditiously.
2. When the writ petition came up for
consideration on 20.03.2025, this Court directed the Registry to call for a report from the Commission to ascertain the status and reasonable time period required to dispose of the above appeal.
3. In compliance with the said order, the Commission, by communication dated 28.03.2025, has informed this Court that even though the appeal was posted for hearing, the counsel on both sides were not ready to advance their submissions. The Commission is ready to dispose of the appeal as and when the counsel get ready for the hearing.

4. Heard; the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. In view of the limited relief that I propose to pass, I dispense with notice to the respondent.
5. On a consideration of the facts and the materials on record, particularly after perusing the communication of the Commission, I deem it appropriate to direct the Commission to consider and dispose of Appeal No. 391/2018, in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within three months from the date of production of a copy of this
