Petitioner was serving as Block Education Officer in Block Bhatwari, District Uttarkashi. He was attached with the office of Regional Additional Director (Secondary Education), Pauri vide order dated 31.12.2015, in view of certain allegations against him. Thus, feeling aggrieved, petitioner filed this writ petition before this Court in 2016, challenging the attachment order. 4. We do not find any reason to interfere with the attachment of petitioner in the office of Regional Additional Director for the simple reason that attachment is not a punishment and petitioner has not been put under suspension, even though there were serious allegations against him. Moreover, the attachment of a Government servant is done for a short while, and the order of attachment passed in 2015, will not survive now after expiry of more than ten years. 5. In such view of the matter, the writ petition fails and is dismissed. (Subhash Upadhyay, J.)
