Jotendro, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. Syed Murtaza Ahmand, learned counsel appearing for the applicant and Mr. Shyam Sharma, learned GA appearing for the respondents. [2] The learned senior counsel for the petitioner submitted that while passing the order dated 20-12-2024 by this Court in WP(C) No. 873 of 2024, certain directions were given to be carried out by the authorities, however, in the said order, it was only directed that the said consideration and disposal of the representation submitted by the petitioner should be completed as expeditiously as possible without specifying time limit. The learned counsel further submitted that as the petitioner desires to have a time limit during which the respondents are to consider and dispose of the said representation, the present application has been filed with a prayer for fixing a stipulated period for complying the direction given by this Court. [3] Mr. Shyam Sharma, learned GA appearing for the respondent submitted that the respondents already filed objection to LAISHRAM DHAKESH ORI DEVI Digitally signed by LAISHRAM DHAKESHORI DEVI Date: 2025.03.06 16:33:12 +05'30' Page 2 the Misc. application raising various grounds such as that a writ petition already disposed of cannot be revived by filing Misc. application and that the applicant has not come with clean hands inasmuch as they have not disclosed in the present application about the withdrawal of the earlier application filed by him. However, the learned GA fairly submitted that since the prayer made in the present application is only for fixing a stipulated period for consideration and disposal of the representation, he fairly submitted that it will be in the interest of justice not to oppose the prayer sought by the petitioner. [4] Taking into consideration the submission advanced by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, this Court is of the considered view that it will be in the interest of justice to issue the following directions :- “It is hereby made clear that the Commissioner (Home), Government of Manipur should consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner as directed earlier by this Court in the order dated 20-12-2024 passed in WP(C) No. 870 of 2024 within a period of three months from today.” [5] With the aforesaid directions, the present application is disposed of.
