This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the respondents for non-payment of the bills for the works undertaken by the petitioner. 2. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance and Planning, and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent-Corporation. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has executed the works, viz., (i) providing borewell with motor and all accessories at Gindivarithoda near Yasodamma house under municipal general funds, vide agreement No.61/2023-24, dated 05.10.2023; (ii) providing borewell with motor and all accessories with HDPE pipeline for water supply to Jagananna colony at Ayyapareddy palem under municipal general funds, vide agreement No.63/2023-24, dated 05.10.2023; (iii) providing borewell, pumpset with all accessories at Brahmayya children hospital in Ramakrishnapuram under municipal general funds, vide agreement No.02/2024-25, dated 01.04.2024; (iv) providing borewell, pumpset with all accessories and HDPE pipeline at -3- W.P. No.28509 OF 2025 Date of order: 16.10.2025 SKLS petrol bunk in MR Nagar under municipal general funds, vide Agreement No. 03/2024-25, dated 01.04.2024; (v) providing for cable wires, HDPE Pipeline and other accessories to Swarnamukhi river motors (michaung cyclone) under municipal general funds, vide Agreement No. 97/2023-24, dated 11.01.2024; (vi) providing 90 mm dia PVC pipeline from Dasaradarami reddy house to LIC office and Srinivasapuram under municipal general funds, vide Agreement No. 87/2023-24, dated 09.01.2024; (vii) providing borewell, pumpset with all accessories and HDPE pipeline at Vinnamala Village under municipal general funds, vide Agreement No. 05/2024-25, dated 01.04.2024; (viii) providing rig bores (3 Nos.) at Vinnamala ST colony and Biradawada under municipal general funds, vide Agreement no. 04/2024-25, dated 01.04.2024; (ix) repairs to commissioner chamber in municipal office under municipal general funds, vide Agreement No.07/2023-24, dated 01.04.2024; (x) providing borewell, pumpset with all accessories and HDPE pipeline, 90 mm PVC pipeline at Lothuvani gunta under municipal general funds, vide agreement No.06/2024-25, dated 01.04.2024; (xi) providing borewell with motor and HDPE pipe with all accessories and providing 90 mm PVC pipeline at BD colony under municipal general funds, vide agreement No.24/2024-25, dated 02.08.2024; (xii) providing borewells (2nos.) with motor and -4- W.P. No.28509 OF 2025 Date of order: 16.10.2025 HDPE pipe with all accessories in Balaji Green City under municipal general funds, vide agreement No.22/2024-25, dated 30.07.2024; (xiii) providing PVC pipeline from Ramakrishna reddy fields BD colony main line under municipal general funds, vide Agreement No.23/2024-25, dated 30.07.2024, and (xiv) filling of pot holes in Naidupeta municipal area under municipal general funds, vide Agreement No.98/2024-25, dated 26.11.2024, as entrusted by the 3rd respondent. 4. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioner duly executed the works to the satisfaction of the 3rd respondent. It is further submitted that after execution of the works, the authorities of the 3rd respondent recorded the progress of the work in M Books and thereafter, the petitioner has submitted respective final bills aggregating to a sum of Rs.44,52,647/- and the same was approved by the 3rd respondent, but so far no payment has been made to the petitioner. 5. In reply, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent submits that there is no dispute with respect to the completion of the works undertaken by the petitioner and the payment would be made shortly. 6. Considering the submissions, respondents 2, 3 and 5 are hereby directed to verify and release the payments due payable to the -5- W.P. No.28509 OF 2025 Date of order: 16.10.2025 petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.
