1. The petition at hand, which is being tried in Public Interest, is pending since 2019. And, is being heard with another petition PIL No. 19/2017 [Inhabitants of Village Hari and others Vs. State and others].
2. In the wake of the above, the numerous orders passed in the connected petition as also the compliance report(s) filed by the learned counsel for the respondents from time to time, it is submitted that the petition having served its purpose it may not be expedient any further to continue therewith.
3. Accordingly, it is submitted that the proceedings in the present case be closed.
