ORAL ORDER
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner herein/respondent-husband in CMC No.617/2023.
2. This petition is filed by the respondent-husband challenging the order dated 27.07.2024 in CMC No.617/2023 passed by the Principal Civil Judge and JMFC, Badami (for short
“the Trial Court”) granting monthly maintenance to the petitioner-wife.
3. Having taken note of the submissions made by the
learned counsel for the petitioner herein/respondent-husband in CMC No.617/2023, I have carefully examined the finding recorded by the Trial Court. It is not in dispute that the marriage of the petitioner with the respondent was solemnized on 26.02.2007 and in their wedlock two children were born. It is forthcoming from the finding recorded by the Trial Court that the parties are residing separately.
4. Taking into consideration the fact that the Trial Court has awarded monthly maintenance of only ₹4,000/- to the respondent herein and therefore, I am of the view that no interference is called for in this petition as the petitioner-wife is

required to lead livelihood. Accordingly, the petition being devoid of merit stands dismissed.
5. In view of disposal of the petition, pending interlocutory applications, if any, do not survive for
consideration and are disposed of accordingly.
