The petitioner, through the medium of this writ petition, has challenged notice inviting Tender bearing E-NIT No. 16 of REW Kishtwar of 2025-26 dated 14.06.2025 by virtue of which respondent No. 5 has invited tenders for construction of Panchayat Ghar Lower Chattroo-A with a further direction commanding respondents No. 1 to 5 to provide the Government job against any vacancy to the petitioner in lieu of the land measuring 1 kanal falling under Khasra No. 4495 situated at Village Chattroo, Tehsil Chattroo and District Kishtwar donated by the father of the petitioner to the official respondents has also been sought. 2. Heard and considered. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the land in question was donated to the official respondents No. 1 to 4 i.e. Rural Development Department, in terms of gift deed Sr. No. 169 2 WP(C) No. 2517/2025 dated 25.02.2020 with a promise by the said Department that the petitioner who happens to be the son of the donor would be appointed as an employee in the respondent’s Department. However, without giving any employment to the petitioner, the respondents are proceeding to construct a Panchayat Ghar on the aforesaid land. 4. Having regard to the nature of the relief that has been sought by the petitioner by way of the present petition, the same can be disposed of, at this stage, by extending appropriate directions to respondent No. 2 to treat this writ petition as representation on behalf of the petitioner and to decide the same in accordance with law within a specified time period. 5. Accordingly, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 to treat this writ petition as representation on behalf of the petitioner and to decide the same, in accordance with the rules most expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order alongwith a copy of the writ petition is made available to the respondents by the petitioner.
