This is a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, wherein the petitioner has challenged the impugned demand notice dated December 23, 2021, issued by the respondent No. 4. Further, the petitioner, by way of the present writ petition, has sought a direction to the respondent No. 4 to stay the effect and operation of the aforesaid demand notice, till the petition is decided. Counsel appearing for the respondent No. 4, submits that they are withdrawing the demand notice under challenge in the petition. In light of the above submissions, the impugned demand notice is quashed and set aside with liberty granted to the authorities to act in accordance with law. The petition stands disposed of.
