25.02.2025 A 968 Ct. No.15 S.A. WPA 26576 of 2023 Chhanda Sengupta -vs- The State of West Bengal & Ors. Mr. Ziaul Haque …for the petitioner Mr. Rudranil De Mr. Manoranjan Mahata …for respondent nos.3 & 5 The petitioner contends that Respondent No. 6 has undertaken unauthorised construction at the relevant premises, yet no action has been taken by the Ashoknagar Kalyangarh Municipality. The learned advocate representing the Municipality submits that a hearing was conducted concerning the alleged unauthorised construction. Following this, the Municipality issued a reasoned order directing Respondents Nos. 3 and 5 to demolish the relevant construction. In light of this, there is nothing further to be decided in the writ petition. A copy of the demolition order is retained on record. The learned advocate for the Municipality is directed to serve a copy of the demolition order upon the learned advocate for the petitioner. Accordingly, WPA 26576 of 2023 is hereby disposed of. 2 Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on compliance of usual legal formalities.
