The present contempt case is filed to summon the contemnors and punish them under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act for their willful and deliberate violation of the interim orders of this Court passed in W.P.No.10308 of 2025, dated 22.04.2025. 2. The learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents submits in their counter affidavit that the respondent authorities received a call through the dial 100 service alleging that certain individuals were selling and consuming illegal liquor inside the disputed land. On receipt of such information, personnel from the concerned police station were sent to verify the situation. However, upon arrival, the gate was found locked, and the police personnel belonging to the 2nd respondent police station returned without any further action. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondents, along with the Executive Officer and others, have trespassed into the property. It is further submitted that a survey was conducted, demarcating the petitioner’s property as land in Survey No.147/1, whereas the petitioner’s actual property consists of Survey Nos.145 and 148/2. 4. Accordingly, the contempt case is closed, leaving it open for the petitioner to take appropriate steps in accordance with the survey report furnished.
