1. This is an office reference.
2. This Court, vide order dated 14.06.2024 passed in MCRC No. 3712/2024, while rejecting the bail to the applicant, namely, Shahid Ansari had expressed its trust that the trial Court would make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of passing of ABHISHEK SHRIVAS Digitally signed by ABHISHEK SHRIVAS Date: 2025.01.08 11:30:57 +0530
2 the order, if there was no legal impediment.
3. The learned Special Judge (N.D.P.S. Act), Surajpur, District - Surajpur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 24.12.2024, requests for grant of some more time for concluding the trial stating that statement of 10 prosecution witnesses has already been recorded and statement of 02 prosecution witnesses is yet to be record, hence, he prays for grant of some more time to conclude the trial.
4. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a period of four months from today.
5. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction.
6. Registry is directed to send a certified copy of this order be sent to the trial Court concerned for necessary information and compliance. Sd/-
