The learned Advocate for the petitioner states that the controversy forming subject matter of the present petition is covered by the judgment of this Court dated 24/08/2022 passed in the matter of Ramsingh Batu Dhande vs. Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Amravati and another in Writ Petition No.7880/2017. 02. The learned Advocate for the respondents does not dispute the statement. 03. In that view of the matter, the petition is partly allowed. The award dated 22/06/2017 passed by the Presiding Officer, Labour Court, Amravati in Reference (IDA) No.1/2010 is modified by deleting the direction for payment of compensation of Rs.25,000/- in lieu of reinstatement and instead directing the respondents to reinstate the petitioner in service. However, having regard to the delay and also in view of the judgment dated 24/08/2022 referred above, the petitioner will be entitled to back wages from 22/06/2017 only i.e. the date of the award.
