This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents, particularly respondents 4 and 5, at the instance of 6th Respondent, in harassing the petitioners and their family members by frequently summoning them to attend before them and insisting them to vacate from some portion of petitioners legitimate agricultural lands measuring Ac. 4.63 cents and Ac. 4.62 cents, situated in Survey Nos. 164-B of Uddehal Village, Bommanahal Mandal, Anantapur District and deliver the same to 6th Respondent, as illegal, irregular, irrational, without any authority of law and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents, particularly Respondents 4 and 5 not to interfere in any manner with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of petitioners over the aforesaid property as well as with their personal liberty.”

Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that, based on the complaint lodged by Respondent No.6, a case in Crime No.91 of 2025 has been registered against the Petitioners herein for the offences under Sections 329(3), 324(4) and 351(2) of BNS on the file of Bommanahal Police Station and the said case is under investigation. It is further submitted that, except registration of the said case, the Police never interfered with the civil disputes between the parties. 3. Ms.Nimmagadda Revathi, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit, recording the same, the petition may be disposed of. 3
4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the Petitioners are at liberty to work out their remedies before appropriate forum by filing appropriate application. There shall be no order as to costs.
