The petitioners have been made accused in connection with Pakur(M) P.S. Case No.241 of 2024 for the offences registered under Sections 126(2), 115(2), 76, 70(1), 62, 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Pakur. On 01.12.2024, the petitioners along with co-accused persons had caught hold of the prosecutrix near Sidha garia Pokhra and attempted to rape her. However, she was recused by the villagers. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to release the petitioners, on bail. Accordingly, their prayer for bail stands rejected at this stage.
