GP FOR HOME 3 THE HONOURABLE DR JUSTICE VENKATA JYOTHIRMAI PRATAPA WRIT PETITION NO: 34837/2025 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer: <…to issue an appropriate writ or order or direction more particularly a writ in the nature of a Mandamus declaring the inaction of the Respondents in taking action against 5th Respondent to 7th Respondent who are habitual thieves having more than 50 criminal cases pending against them in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for actively threatening the Petitioners that they will implicate them as co-accused in criminal cases in which they are accused as illegal, arbitrary, violative of Article 14, 19 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondent Nos. 1 to 4 to initiate criminal action against Respondents Nos.5 to 7 for threatening to implicate them as co accused in criminal cases in which they are accused including initiating Preventive Detention and direct the Respondent No.2 to instruct Investigation Officers from Police Stations under his jurisdiction to send detailed enquiry report and seek permission from Respondent No.2 before taking any steps against the Petitioners basing on the false confessions of Respondents Nos.5 to 7 in criminal cases pending against Respondents Nos.5 to 7.…= 2. Heard Sri N.Bharath Simha Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri P.Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the official respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petition may be disposed of, giving liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh petition along with all the details where the petitioners were wrongly implicated by the unofficial respondents. 4 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that the Court may pass appropriate Orders. 5. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of.
