The petitioner superannuated from service of the WBTCL on June 30, 2023. He received his Provident Fund benefits of Rs. 10,29,678/- on December 7, 2023. 3. The petitioner is entitled to interest for the period from July 01, 2023 to December 07, 2023 at the rate of 6 per cent per annum. Let the same be paid to the petitioner by the WBTCL within a period of one month from date. 2 4. In default of payment as directed above, the rate of interest shall stand increased to 9 per cent per annum. 5. The writ petition is disposed of. 6. There will be no order as to costs. 7.
