RAYUDU SUDHA The Court made the following: 2 ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents police in calling the petitioners to their police station frequently without having any valid reasons and complaint by pressuring the petitioners to settle the matter with the unofficial respondent amicably in connection with the petitioners agricultural lands in Sy No. 279A to an extent of Ac.1.00 cents and Sy.No. 173A to an extent of Ac.0.70 cents situated at Nellipudi village, Gangavaram Mandal, East Godavari District by interfering the police into the civil disputes by violating the Circular issued by the 3rd respondent and also standing Orders of 322-1 of AP Police Manual, is highly illegal, arbitrary and against the principles of natural justice and also violative of Articles 14, 19, 21 and 300-A of Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents police not to harass the petitioners by calling to their police station by involving into the civil disputes in the interest of justice.” 2. Sri Chintapalli Srinivas, learned counsel for the Petitioners would submit that, let there be a direction to the Police not to interfere in the civil disputes between the Petitioners and the unofficial Respondent. 3. Sri V.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that the disputes between the Petitioner and Respondent No.7 are purely civil in nature and the Police are not interfering in the civil disputes between the parties. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, Police are directed not to interfere in the civil disputes between the Petitioners and Respondent No.7, except under due process of law. There shall be no order as to costs.
