ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: <…to issue a writ or order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the high-handed action of the action of the respondents herein more particularly Respondent Nos. 6 and 7 in continuously calling the petitioners to their police station to settle down the civil disputes with Respondent No.8, at the behest and influence of Respondent No.08 as illegal, arbitrary, unjust, unconstitutional and violative of Article 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India and further violative of the procedure contemplated under the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973, consequently direct the Respondent Nos. 6 and 7 herein not to call the petitioners to their police station and further not to interfere in the civil disputes of the petitioners.…=
2. Heard Sri Omkar.D, learned counsel for the petitioners and Sri P.Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home for the respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the respondent- police are calling the petitioners to the police station to settle the civil disputes between the petitioners and the unofficial respondent No.8.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that basing on the complaint of the respondent No.8 herein, who is the sister in law of the petitioners, a case in Cr.No.617 of 2023 under Sections 420, 419, 465, 468, 471 r/w 34 of IPC dated 21.09.2023 was registered against the petitioners. He would further submit that except for the purpose of investigation in the above said crime, the police never called the

petitioners to the police station and never interfered in the civil disputes between the parties.
5. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the police are directed to follow due process of law regarding the crime which was registered against the petitioners. No order as to costs.
