R.Annapurna, learned counsel for the petitioners in the above cases and Smt A.Jayanthi, learned Government Pleader for Home. 2. Smt A.Jayanthi, learned Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions of Commissioner of Police, Visakhapatnam City dated 15.09.2025, submits that the then Deputy Superintendent of Police, CID conducted enquiry and submitted a report stating that the petitioners took permission for conducting Drug trials from Department of Medical Education (DME) and Ethics Committee and petitioners did not commit any forgery or misappropriation and the allegations against the petitioners were made out of professional jealousy, and therefore, no criminal cases were registered against the petitioners. 3. Smt R.Annapurna, learned counsel for the petitioners, requests that the Writ Petitions may be closed without going into the merits of the cases. 4. Considering the same, and in the light of the submissions made by learned Government Pleader for Home, nothing remains for adjudication in these cases. 2 5. Accordingly, both the Writ Petitions are closed at the stage of admission. There shall be no order as to costs.
