[2025:RJ-JP:40308] HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE FOR RAJASTHAN BENCH AT JAIPUR S.B. Criminal Miscellaneous Bail Application No. 11639/2025 Sharukh Alias Tonta S/o Geela @ Sumer, R/o Village Moliya, Police Station Laxmangarh, District Alwar (Rajasthan) (At Present Confined In Central Jail, Alwar). ----Petitioner Versus State Of Rajasthan, Through Pp ----Respondent For Petitioner(s) : Mr. Girish Khandelwal For Respondent(s) : Mr. Jaiprakash Tiwari, PP HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE PRAMIL KUMAR MATHUR Order 06/10/2025 1. The applicant has preferred this bail application under Section 483 of BNSS in FIR No.251/2018 registered at Police Station Baroda Meo, District-Alwar for offences under Section 5/8 of Rajasthan Bovine Animal (Prohibition of Slaughter and Regulation of Temporary Migration or Export) Act, 1995. 2. Heard learned counsel for the applicant as well as learned Public Prosecutor and perused the material available on record. 3. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the present case pertains to a bail jump. The trial court had issued a standing arrest warrant against the applicant on 05.07.2024. Thereafter, the applicant voluntarily surrendered before the trial court and was remanded to judicial custody on 26.07.2025. The allegation against the applicant pertains to the transportation of cows and calves. The applicant has remained in judicial custody for over two [2025:RJ-JP:40308] (2 of 2) [CRLMB-11639/2025] months. The trial of the case may take considerable time, therefore, no fruitful purpose would be served by keeping the applicant in further custody, hence, the bail application of the applicant may be allowed. 4. Learned Public Prosecutor has vehemently opposed the bail application. 5. On consideration of the rival submission and material available on record and deliberating all the facts and circumstances of the case, and without expressing any opinion on the merits/demerits of the case, I am inclined to grant benefit of bail to the applicant. 6. Accordingly, the bail application under Section 483 B.N.S.S. is allowed and it is ordered that the applicant-Sharukh Alias Tonta S/o Geela @ Sumer shall be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with two sureties of Rs.25,000/- each to the satisfaction of the learned trial court for his appearance before that Court on all the dates till conclusion of the trial.
