The present contempt petition has been filed under article 215 of the Constitution of India read with Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1973 by the petitioner alleging non-compliance of order of this Court dated 14.03.2024 passed in WPS No. 9465/2023. Vide order dated 14.03.2024, this Court has passed the following 2 order/direction:- “In the light of law laid down by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in case of Dr. A. Selvaraj (supra) and also considering the factural matrix of the case and submissions made by the parties, it is quite vivid that without rhyme and reason retiral dues have been withheld, thereafter, the final dues have been paid tot he petitioner on 30.06.2021 after five years of the death of the husband of the petitioner. She must have suffered mental agony for last five years because of financial crisis arisen on account of non-payment of retiral dues. Keeping in view of the matter, it is directed that the State Government shall pay the interest on the entire dues which have been withheld from July, 2018 to 30.06.2021 @ 6% per annum within three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.” 2. Learned counsel for both the respective parties appeared and contended that the order of this court has fully been complied with. 3.
