KAMAL ORAL ORDER Case of the petitioners is that one K.L Rajanna the father of the petitioner No.1 was the owner of the land bearing Sy.No.19/2 measuring 1 acre 13 guntas and Sy.No.20 measuring 2 acres 17 guntas and Sy.No.25 measuring 25 guntas having acquired in terms of an order dated 28.01.1975 passed under the provisions of the Karnataka (Religious and Charitable) Inams Abolition Act, 1955. That after the expiry of the said K.L.Rajanna, name of the petitioner No.1 being his son succeeded to the said property. 2 That on 16.12.1999 preliminary notification under Section 4(1) of Land Acquisition Act, 1894 came to be issued by the respondents for acquisition of 37 acres 24 guntas including the schedule properties for the purpose of establishing a Sewerage Treatment Plant in Stage IV of Cauvery Water Supply Scheme, followed by final notification dated 13.02.2001. - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:8543 WP No. 24565 of 2016 3. Though several grounds have been urged in the writ petition, the principal contention of the petitioner is non payment of the compensation amount. 4. Upon the direction of this Court, learned HCGP filed a memo dated 25.02.2025 furnishing a copy of the register showing the details of disbursement of the compensation. The same is taken on record. 5. Counsel for the petitioners on perusal of the same and on instruction submits that the petitioners do not dispute the payment of the compensation as evidenced by records now produced. 6.
