1. Status report filed by the State, be kept with the records.
2. We find that 3 out of 18 charge sheet named witnesses have already been examined.
3. The petitioner says that he is in custody for about one year and four months. He had no intention of killing his father. The witnesses so far examined say that only fists, blows and kicks were showered on the victim. He prays for bail.
4. We have seen the depositions of the three witnesses examined so far. 2 of them are eyewitnesses. They squarely implicate the petitioner. They describe how indiscriminate fists, blows and kicks were showered on the victim, who was an elderly person. The victim succumbed to the injuries sustained, on his way to hospital.

5. In view of the strong incriminating material /evidence against the petitioner, we are not inclined to entertain his prayer for bail, at this stage.
6. The prayer for bail is rejected.
7. CRM (DB) 129 of 2025 is dismissed.
8. However, considering the period of detention of the petitioner, we direct the learned Trial Court to expedite the trial to the fullest extent possible and conclude the same on an early date, without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, if necessary, by fixing frequent schedules for examination of witnesses and also, if necessary, by preponing the next date fixed for hearing.
9. Parties to communicate this order to the learned Trial Court.
