Heard the parties.
Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Adityapur P.S. Case No.311 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. Case No.518 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 25(1-B)a/26(1)/35 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Seraikella.
On 22.08.2024, on the basis of confession of this petitioner, house of Dharmendra Kumar was raided and from his possession, two pistols were recovered.
It was submitted that nothing incriminating was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was further submitted that petitioner is in custody for five months and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.
In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Seraikella, in connection with Adityapur P.S. Case No.311 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. Case No.518 of 2024.
