This contempt petition has been filed under Article 215 of the Constitution of India read with Section 10 and 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971. 3. Vide order dated 18.07.2024, this Court has passed the following order(s)/direction(s) in WP(S) No.8756/2023 and other connected matters :- “3. State counsel on instructions submits that a committee was constituted by the State Government to look into the grievances of the petitioners and that committee has given a report, a photocopy of which is placed on record, which is 2 favorable to the petitioners. He submits that the cases of the petitioners would be considered in the light of the report given by the committee so constituted by the State Government. 4. In view of the statement made by the State Counsel, these petitions are disposed of. If the petitioners still feel aggrieved, the petitioners would have liberty to approach this Court again by way of fresh petition.” 4. When the case is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for both the parties submitted that the order(s)/direction(s) of this Court has been duly complied with and learned counsel for the respondent in support of his submission thereof, placed relevant documents on records. Perusal of which shows that the order of the Court had duly been complied with. 5. In view of above, the present contempt petition is closed and is accordingly disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
