ORDER:
This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ or Writs, Order or Direction, declaring the action of Respondent Nos. 1 and 2 in not providing police protection/aid to the petitioner in implementing the Judgment and Decree dated 7.6.2011 passed in O.S.No. 48 of 2010 on the file of Court of Hon'ble Junior Civil Judge, Madakasira in respect of schedule property i.e. land bearing Sy No. 108 admeasuring Ac. 2.00 and Sy No. 108-5 (New No. 267-3) admeasuring Ac.5.25 cents situated at Dodderi Village, Madakasira Mandal, Ananthapuram District, as illegal, arbitrary, non exercising of powers vested

with Respondents and violative of Arts. 14 and 21 of Constitution of India and to consequently direct the Respondent No. 1 and 2 to forthwith provide police protection/aid to the petitioner to protect his above lands, in implementation of the
Judgment and Decree dt 7.6.2011 passed by the Court of Hon'ble Junior Civil Judge, Madakasira in 0 S No. 48 of 2010 , Award costs.”
2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.
3. Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on written instructions, would submit that there is no specific direction to the police to provide police protection and the petitioner did not give any representation to the police to provide protection.
4. For ready reference, the written instructions are extracted hereunder:
“It is submitted that it is open to the petitioner to make an application before the concerned Hon’ble Court which granted injunction orders seeking police protection. Unless and until, there are any specific directions/orders to the respondent police to provide police protection, it is very difficult for the police to act independently in providing police protection to the disputed lands.”
5. Recording the said submissions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
