1. This petition under Section 528 of the BNSS has been filed for extension of time to deposit the fine amount of Rs. 5000/- as per order dated 14.10.2024 passed by this Court in CR.R. No. 962/2015.
2. This Court, vide order dated 14.10.2024, while partly allowing the revision petition and sentencing the petitioner to the period already undergone, had enhanced the fine amount of Rs. 2000/- to Rs. 5000/- and had granted one month’s time from the date of passing of the order for KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN Date: 2025.01.07 11:54:07 +0530
2 depositing the enhanced fine amount.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was not aware about the enhanced fine amount and he approached his counsel about his case, then the counsel was came to knowledge about the fine enhanced amount and hence he could not pay fine enhanced amount within stipulated time, due to lack of knowledge and hence the petitioner wants to take extension of time to deposit fine enhancement amount of Rs. 5000/- Hence, he prays that the time period for depositing the fine amount may be extended.

Learned counsel for the other side has no objection.
5. The prayer made by the petitioner appears to be reasonable. Hence, the petitioner is granted further two weeks and no more time from today to deposit the enhanced fine amount as was ordered by this Court on 14.10.2024 in Cr.R. No. 962 of 2015.
6. Accordingly, this Cr.M.P. stands disposed of.
7. Registry is directed to send a certified copy of this order to the trial Court concerned for necessary information and compliance. Sd/-
