GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... a Writ of Mandamus to declare the notice dated 26.11.2025 not permitting the petitioner to take out Lord Subrahmanyeswra Swamy procession from the Dekanakonda hillock into the Dekanakonda village through main road. Ramalayam street, dakshina bajaaru, Devang bajaaru, Bayyavaram Peddavaram villages with kolaaTa utsavaram on 11.12.2025, as illegal arbitrary, perverse, violation of Articles 14, 19, 25 AND 26 of Constitution of India inspite of order dated 30.08.2025 passed in WA. No. 2 950/2025 by Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court, and consequently DIRECT the respondents to provide police security to the said religious procession on 11.12.2025, in the interest of justice.” 2. Sri J.V.Phaniduth, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that, in spite of the representation of the Petitioner, the Respondent – Police are not permitting the Petitioner to take out Lord Subrahmanyeswara Swamy procession from Dekanakonda hillock into Dekanakonda Village through main road, Ramalayam Street, Dakshina Bajaaru, Devang Bajaaru, Bayyavaram and Peddavaram Villages with Kollata utsavam on 11.12.2025. 3. Sri P.Ajay Kumar, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home on written instructions would submit that, in the interest of maintaining public order, the Petitioner is advised not to conduct the procession. 4. In the light of the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Respondent Nos.4 and 5 are directed to look into the grievance of the Petitioner, to attend the cause and to see that the religious procession be conducted on 11.12.2025 from Dekanakonda hillock into Dekanakonda Village through main road, Ramalayam Street, Dakshina Bajaaru, Devang Bajaaru, Bayyavaram and Peddavaram Villages with Kollata utsavam, in a peaceful manner, without inviting any untoward incident. There shall be no order as to costs.
