This petition under Section 528 of the BNSS has been filed for extension of time to deposit the fine amount of Rs. 2000/- as per order dated 21.10.2024 passed by this Court in CR.R. No. 878/2014. 2. This Court, vide order dated 21.10.2024, while partly allowing the revision petition and sentencing the petitioner to the period already undergone, had enhanced the fine amount of Rs. 1000/- to Rs. 2000/- and had granted one month’s time from the date of passing of the order for 2 depositing the enhanced fine amount. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that earlier the applicant is on contact with his high Court counsel but now the days he could not make the contact with his high Court counsel and when he knows about the Court’s order through his local counsel ( as informed by high Court counsel to him) he was out of station as he driver when he reached to Dantewada, he is trying to arrange money to deposit the fine amount but he was late and when he went to Court to deposit the same, the Court said, time period fix by this Court has been expired, therefore, he prays that the time period for depositing the fine amount may be extended. 4. Learned counsel for the other side has no objection. 5. The prayer made by the petitioner appears to be reasonable. Hence, the petitioner is granted further two weeks and no more time from today to deposit the enhanced fine amount as was ordered by this Court on 21.10.2024 in Cr.R. No. 878 of 2014. 6. Accordingly, this Cr.M.P. stands disposed of. 7. Registry is directed to send a certified copy of this order to the trial Court concerned for necessary information and compliance.
