By way of the present writ petition, the petitioner have sought issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the official respondents to take action against respondent No.5 for raising illegal construction in the courtyard and internal wall of house No.506, situated at Chandigarh Royale Estate/City, Banur, Tehsil Mohali, District S.A.S. Nagar. A further prayer has been made to remove the said illegal construction raised by respondent No.5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already made a representation dated 20.03.2025 (Annexure P-6) to the competent authorities for AJAY PRASHER 2025.04.28 12:26 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

-2- redressal of his grievances, but no action has been taken thereon till date. He further submits that the petitioner would be satisfied, if the respondent authorities are directed to deal with his concerns/grievances and pass appropriate order on the said representation.

Served with the advance copy of the petition, Ms. Avin Sandhu, Advocate, appears on behalf of respondent No.3- GMADA and submits that the said representation shall be considered and decided by the competent authority, in accordance with law.

Without commenting on merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-GMADA (competent authority), to look into the pending representation dated 20.03.2025 (Annexure P-6) of the petitioner and pass an appropriate reasoned order thereon, in accordance with law, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy/production of this order.

disposed of.
